HISTORY
Real innovations in business are a mixture of unmet marketplace needs, entrepreneurial spirit, and special or unique knowledge. When these three elements are mixed in proper proportions the result is an extraordinary company on an arc of extraordinary success. We read and hear about these super-achievers and their founders. We want to engage them because what they do is not separate from how they do it. Such companies have no real competitors and because they create new opportunities, they have no peers. Employees want to work for them because their management typifies best practices in all respects of company management not just meeting niche market needs.
Technical Assurance is such a company.
Founded by Ed Taylor in 1993, Technical Assurance has grown faster and enjoyed incredible success in a market that it, in effect, defined for the first time. Mr. Taylor possessed a lifetime of experience and a vision that the condition of a building exterior defined the image of an organization. Mr. Taylor knew that the relationship of building envelope systems and components to each other had a profound effect on the life cycle of the building or facility as a whole. He saw the lack of information as inherently wasteful to clients who, without it, could not make informed, cost effective decisions. Mr. Taylor possessed a loyalty to clients and their interests that has resulted in his company consistently exceeding client expectations and a reputation for going the extra mile to assure accuracy and responsiveness.
Today, Technical Assurance is a mission driven organization which has grown to provide facility and building envelope services to an impressive array of clients including: Case Western Reserve University, ARAMARK Facilities Management, Alltel, Oberlin College, The Cleveland Clinic, and numerous Condominium Associations including the Moreland Courts Condominium Association, one of the largest condominium restoration projects ever conducted in the United States.
