The Science Hall located at Park University is a multi-level rough-cut stone structure with flat and sloped roof sections, built in 1922 with an addition in 1997. This structure was exhibiting severe lintel distress, stone displacement, below grade water intrusion and premature roof failures as a result of inadequate ventilation. Recommended repairs or replacements included the sealant joints, window head lintels, the roof steel beams, masonry stone, sill stone, and asphaltic materials.

We also provided Phase I Discovery Services for Aramark Education at Millikin University’s Aston Hall and Scovil Hall. Aston Hall, which was built in 1910, was generally in fair condition. Built in 1954, Scovil Hall exhibited signs of deterioration at the masonry gables, sealant joints, and glazing. In addition, the terra cotta accents showed signs of widespread sealant joint and glazing failure and have affected the masonry movement at the gables.
