Cashelmara Condominiums

Cashelmara Condominiums contacted Technical Assurance to evaluate, test and investigate the 254,158 square feet of facilities located adjacent to Lake Erie. After six months of initial testing and evaluations, Technical Assurance determined that even though this Condominium Association was fairly young, approximately fifteen years, the original design was not capable of handling the weather conditions of Lake Erie. Technical Assurance was retained to create a plan and design to restore and maintain the property. We developed a 36 month Building Envelope Restoration Program that was completed as scheduled in 33 months. This program involved the replacement of the steep roofs, the siding and the majority of the windows and doors; also, new roof ventilation, waterproofing underlayment and sheet metal flashing systems were incorporated to handle the lake weather exposure.
