The building is a showpiece for the college and consists of exposed marble chip finish. This building was experiencing spall and crack conditions and required sensitive restoration techniques to restore the building back to the architect's original intent.

Technical Assurance has provided evaluation, planning, budgeting, design, bid, and project management and administration for Oberlin College since 1999.

Technical Assurance has designed the current restoration requirements and repair evaluations, cost estimates, and planning documents for groups of buildings based on a priority basis. Technical Assurance's masonry façade restoration and roof replacement for Oberlin College has pertained to approximately forty buildings and roofs to date.
