Moreland Courts Condominiums West Garage

Technical Assurance as the prime consultant on this project obtained and managed the services of mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers, as sub-consultants. This thirteen (13) million dollar restoration of individual living units, public spaces, and two garages required immediate repairs in a variety of areas due to health and safety concerns. These health and safety issues were promptly addressed. For example, the West Garage, a two level parking garage structure, exhibited extensive concrete deterioration including deteriorating steel reinforcements, spalling concrete, and displaced stone units. This West Garage rehabilitation project required construction, repair, and/or replacement work to be performed on the following: brick masonry, stone masonry, steel lintels, sealants, concrete, and the steel.
