Point East Condominiums

Technical Assurance designed an Asset Management Plan for Point East Condominiums that included the restoration and repair requirements, and ongoing maintenance concerns. The scope of Technical Assurance’s work included complete parking deck restoration, extensive building exterior restoration, roof repair, and substantial below grade waterproofing.

Point East was experiencing serious structural distress to the garage and masonry façade as a result of water intrusion. Technical Assurance field technicians conducted exploratory diagnostics such as the Water Absorption Test (WAT) over a two-week period. Our field technicians were able to determine the source of this insidious leak and performed the necessary corrective actions. Since we has repaired the core issues and implemented a preventative maintenance program there has been no evidence of any reoccurring leaks.
